Add kerf-in weatherstrip to existing door frames without pulling the frame or buying a $400 dedicated kerf tool. This base holds your palm router at 45°, and tilted back, so the cutter reaches tight into the corner of the door stop and cuts a clean 1/8" kerf for barbed door seals.

Includes:

  • Router base for your selected model.

  • 3-1/8" long × 1/8" kerf cutter, 1/4" shank

  • Built-in 1.75" dust port. Vacuum adapters available for specific vacuum systems from D3 Engineering

  • Instruction packet: router setup, cutting steps, and weatherstrip installation

  • Compatible with the Arched Door Kit for arched and curved door frames

  • The value is incredible, it looks amazing, and the weight tells me that there isn't a low infill ( it's sturdy/ solid ) The packaging could have been a bit better, but it arrived in perfect condition. The alternative is to buy a $400 dedicated tool so this is a great alternative for anyone who isn't going to install miles of weather striping.
